Professor's Lecture on the Affect of "Cuteness"





















Art Professor, Micol Hebron, will be giving a public lecture at Art Basel Miami (the biggest contemporary art fair in the country) in Miami Florida at the O Cinema, on December 8th, 2013. Hebron's lecture will be the first public presentation of research that she has been conducting on the affect of "Cuteness". The lecture is titled "What "cute" can do for you (and what it can't): A lecture on the functionality of cute".

Professor a 24-hour Photoshop Speaker













24-hour photoshop carefully selected speakers that are the most knowledgeable and recognized experts in adobe photoshop who all spoke about the valuable information they possess from November 14-15. One of the speakers was one of Chapman's adjunct faculty members, Andrew Shalat, who is also the Head of Graphic Design and Digital Arts at Sessions College of Art and Design.

Commodores Exhibit















Chapman's Permanent Collection Manager, David Lee, who is also the Director and Curator of the Coastline Community College gallery, is the "brainchild" of their new exhibit, "Commodores." The show invites viewers to experience a visual history of Newport's harbor. Art Professor, David Kiddie, Joins Advisory Board at the American Museum of Ceramic Art


















Professor, David Kiddie, was invited to join the Advisory Board for the American Museum of Ceramic art.  AMOCA’s Advisory Board will brainstorm and assist with the future direction of the museum offering ideas for exhibition, membership strategies and growth and special events.  Kiddie will be in good company with a mix of ceramics professors, artists, designers, curators and arts writers.
