Visual Speaker Series Presents Liz Glynn

Please join us for a talk by performance artist, Liz Glynn, this Wednesday, April 18 at 7pm in Moulton room 213.

Liz Glynn uses epic historical narratives to explore empirical cycles of growth decay, and the potential for change in the present tense through particpatory performances, large-scale installations, sculptural objects, and intimate actions. Her solo exhibitions and participatory performances are many. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, New York Magazine, the Los Angeles Times, Artforum, Art Lies, Mousse, and Archaeology Magazine. She was awarded the California Community Foundation Emerging Artist Fellowship in 2010.  Liz completed her MFA from CalArts in 2008 and her BA from Harvard College in 2003.
